Italy PM says negotiations with U.S. should aim at removing all tariffs

ROME (Reuters) – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Friday said negotiations on tariffs between the U.S. and the European Union should aim at lifting all of them.

“Where do I think the negotiations should go? Towards removing all duties, not multiplying them,” Meloni said, reiterating her opposition to retaliatory tariffs.
