Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 Annual Children’s Christmas Party

By The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343

The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 held our annual Children’s Christmas Party on Sunday, December 17th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  It was a huge success with over thirty children in attendance, and many parents and grandparents enjoying the time together.  A coloring contest, Christmas craft making, face painting, Christmas music were the planned events. The children and families dined on Hot Dogs, Macaroni & Cheese, Potato Chips, and soft drinks.

The party featured Santa and Santa’s helper “Jingles the Elf” who paid a special visit with each child, while a present was waiting for them in the lodge runyon room. Every table was set with placemat coloring pictures. All totaled the children had over 85 toys to choose from after meeting with Santa thanks to the Committee members, helpers, the generosity of DJ Westrick and our Elk membership through purchasing of the raffle tickets.
