Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 “Baskets for the Needy”program

The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 Past Exalted Rulers Association provided assistance to sixty (60) families through our annual “Basket for the Needy” program this Holiday season. Lodge 343 Volunteers for distribution of baskets were, PER’s Gregory C. Hudy, Robert J. Fritch, Steven M. Peters, Gerald W. Goodwin, and Exalted Ruler Gary Nesbitt.

Along with the help of Vinckier Foods in Wadhams, Tammy Peters, Sue Hudy, Mike Adamkiewicz, David Crimmins, Secretary Joe Miller, Stacey Weston, Loyal Knight John Cuthbertson, Trustee Gary Osburn, Tiler Penny Osburn, Blake Dove and the Lodge 343 staff. These Volunteers organized and put together 60 full baskets, which included a Turkey or Ham, 5 lbs. of Potatoes, a loaf of bread, many canned and boxed goods, a cooking pan in a laundry basket for delivery on December 16th.

A very special thank you to ALL the Elks Lodge 343 Members, too many to name, whose generosity came through once again with donated hams, turkeys, canned goods, dry goods, and miscellaneous food products or assisted financially, while bringing a smile too so many this Holiday Season.
