By Barb Pert Templeton

For those ready to embrace the holidays or perhaps just start getting into the spirit of the season the next few weekends offer plenty of events across St. Clair County for area families to enjoy.

Downriver both Marine City and Algonac will host their annual Christmas activities this Saturday, Dec. 2. Merritime Christmas in Marine City will welcome residents and visitors alike to an all-day schedule of activities beginning at 10 a.m. In nearby Algonac, Christmas in the Nac will kickoff at 6 p.m. with the city’s tree lighting followed by an evening of fun family activities.
