FOND DU LAC – Before you head across Fond du Lac Aug. 24-28, check the cones and orange barrels. Several road projects could slow your drive — and a few streets will be closed altogether.
Here’s what work is planned and what traffic impacts to expect, according to the city’s Engineering & Traffic Division. All work is weather dependent.

Can residents and businesses still get access?
Local access will remain available whenever possible, the city said. Residents, business owners, customers and jurors may go past “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” signs to reach properties in affected areas, the city added.
Drivers may not go past “Road Closed” signs or move construction barricades. Parking is not allowed in construction zones during working hours.
