The company is part of Victron Energy Inc. Victron’s website said it is a “prominent fuel distributor with a focus on building world-class convenience store and travel center facilities.”

The company opened a Texas Best Smokehouse travel center in Henrietta in 2018, according to an April 22, 2018, article in the Times Record News.

The new center, called Gateway of Iowa Park, will be built at 500 North West Access Road on the north side of U.S. Highway 287.

Cost of the project is listed as $8.5 million with construction to start on Sept. 28. It will take one year to complete.

The TDLR said the travel center will be nearly 10,000 square-feet in size and will contain a Whataburger, and auto and large diesel fuel sales.
