One player who elevated his standing on the team is Camden Brown; he’s been able to take his play from the practice field into real game situations. While his performance against the Seahawks was impressive, what’s more impressive is he’s been going up against the Cowboys first-string defense and making the same type of plays.
The same can’t be said for many other players fighting for a roster spot, and they’re running out of time to turn things around. The Arizona game may be the final chance to make a lasting impression on this coaching staff and front office. Players like Marist Luafau, Sam Williams, and Luke Schoonmaker were all players the Cowboys had high hopes for; it’s the reason they were drafted. But whether due to injuries or an inability to produce in games, their roster spots are on shaky ground.
