The Florence Y’alls have put themselves in great position to qualify for the Frontier League playoffs as they start a six-game homestand this week.
Florence is home Aug. 11-16, with three games against Lake Erie and three against Schaumburg. First pitch Sunday, Aug. 16, is 1:07 p.m. and between 6:35 and 7 p.m. the rest of the week.
The Y’alls are coming off an 11-game winning streak that was snapped over the weekend against the Brockton Rox on the road.
Florence, 46-32, is seven games behind first-place Washington (53-25) in the Central Division, but seven games ahead of Windy City for the last wild-card berth in the Midwest Conference. There are 24 games left in the regular season.
Leading the way is team veteran Hank Zeisler, who is batting .362 with 20 home runs and a league-high 85 runs batted in. He also has 75 runs scored and 24 doubles. He set the franchise career hits record on July 21 and now has more than 325.
Zade Richardson, a New Richmond High School graduate, is second on the team in average at .352 and third in runs scored with 55. He has 47 RBIs.
Tyler Shaneyfelt, who starred on Northern Kentucky University’s 2025 NCAA Tournament team, is hitting .290 with 59 runs scored and 47 steals, which is a franchise record. He also has the career club record.
Ryle graduate Evan Webster is the team ace with a 9-5 record and 4.27 ERA and 75 strikeouts in 90 innings.
