ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico – The first day of qualifying trials for the 2026 All American Futurity is here.
This year’s trials were moved to the Downs of Albuquerque after severe floods damaged the Ruidoso Downs Race Track and Casino.
Friday, Aug. 7 is the first of two days of qualifying for the 440-yard All American Futurity, which will be held on Sept. 7. There are 14 trials Friday and 14 more trials will be Saturday, Aug. 8. The first post time is at noon both days
The five fastest horses from each day qualify for the All American Futurity final. The All American Futurity trials are for 2-year-old quarter horses.

Day 1 qualifiers for the 2026 All American Futurity
Chile Gato, 20.911 seconds, jockey is Francisco Calderon, trainer is Jed H. Vane
Cowboys Flying, 21.019 seconds, jockey is Nestor Duran, trainer is Ramiro Barajas Villarreal
Ask Her To Fly, 21.100 seconds, jockey is Ramiro Haro Garcia, trainer is Jason Olmstead
Happy Flying Bird, 21.102 seconds, jockey is Gabriel Medrano, trainer is Manuel Rodolfo Rodriguez
Leaving London, 21.109 seconds, jockey is Sergio Becerra, Jr., trainer is Omar Vargas
Race 14: Cowboys Flying wins the 14th All American Futurity trial, qualifies for final
Cowboys Flying, who was a $50,000 supplement into the trials, finished in a time of 21.019 and qualified for the All American final with the second fastest time.
The Texas-bred son of Flying Cowboy 123 has now won all five career starts. The winning jockey was Nestor Duran, the winning owner was Double J Racing and the winning trainer was Ramiro Barajas Villarreal.
Race 13: Promising wins the 13th All American Futurity trial
Promising won his third race from five starts for trainer Omar Vargas and jockey Jose Enrique Ortiz. The winning time was 21.383 seconds.
Luxury Sin Tacha was second and Candy In My Arms was third.
Race 12: Tater Hill Senator wins the 12th All American Futurity trial
Tater Hill Senator took top honors with a time of 21.376 seconds for trainer Clinton Crawford, jockey Jacob Enriquez and owners Jacque Rich and Haskell Rich.
Aj Hard PLayer finished second and Lonestar Jess was third.
Race 11: Dulce Dreams wins the 11th All American Futurity trial
Dulce Dreams edged Tell A Scout with a winning tome of 21.135 seconds. The winning jockey was Christian Cardenas, the trainer was Rodolfo Valles and the winning owner. was AZ Field Services.
Coronado Jess was third.
Dulce Dreams knocked Cartel Cowgirl 123 out of the top 5 to qualify for the All American Futurity.

Race 10: El Diamante J wins the10th All American Futurity trial
In a close race, El Diamante took top honors in 21.40 seconds for trainer Tony Sedillo, jockey Jose Enrique Ortiz and Tungsten Racing Partnership LLC. Tymetogojoe was second, and Lethal Heiress was third.
There are four trials remaining.
Race 9: Tesstify wins 9th All American Futurity trial
Tesstify earned a close win in the ninth trial in 21.43 seconds for jockey Christian Cardenas, trainer Rodolfo Valles and owner JC and CF LLC.
D Inseoerable D was second and Sixes Candy placed third.
Race 8: Chile Gato wins 8th All American Futurity trial
Chile Gato won in sub-21 seconds with a time of 20.911 seconds for trainer Jed H. Vane, trainer Francisco Calderon and owner Omar Paredas
Ask Her To Fly was second in time of 21.100 seconds and Dangerous Jess was third in 21.167 seconds.
Chile Gato won his first career race.
Race 7: Cartel Cowgirl 123 wins 7th All American Futurity trial for Ruidoso track owner Johnny Trotter
Cartel Cowgirl 123 won in an impressive 21.157 seconds for owner Johnny Trotter, jockey Joseph Belloc, Jr. and trainerJJ Gonzales II.
Cartel Cowgirl 123 was fifth in the Rainbow Futurity in July.
Navajo Stone ran well and got second in 21.226 seconds and Candy Blues Girl was third.
Race 6: Konklusiv wins 6th All American Futurity trial with former All American Futurity winning jockey as trainer
Konklusiv won the 6th trial in time of 21.316 seconds for owner Bobby Cox, jockey James Flores and trainer Juan Vazquez. Vazquez is a former All American Futurity winning jockey.
Indefensible was second and Monday Dynasty was third.

Race 5: Staggeringcowboy wins fifth All American Futurity trial
Staggeringcowboy won the 5th trial for trainer Justin Joiner, jockey Francisco Calderon and owner West Texas Racing Partners LLC.
The winning time was 21.330 seconds. Valiant Sass was second and Liionesss was third.

Race 4: Leaving London wins fourth All American Futurity trial
Leaving London took top honors for trainer Omar Vargas, jockey Sergio Becerra, Jr. and owner Tungsten Racing Partnership (Marcelino Gonzalez et al). The winning time was 21.109 seconds. It was the second fastest time through four races.
Mr Cartel Favorite ran second and Miss American was fifth.
Race 3: Youve Got the Look wins third All American Futurity trial
Youve Got the Look won the 3rd All American Futurity trial for jockey Jacob Enriquez, trainer Clinton Crawford and owners Randy and Sandy Coleman. The winning time was 21,436 seconds.
Agree N Tell was second, Aj Wine Wagon was third.
Race 2: Happy Flying Bird wins second All American Futurity trial
Happy Flying Bird won the second All American Futurity trial for trainer Manuel Rodolfo Rodriguez, jockey Gabriel Medrano and owner MRB Racing LLC (Elva Rodriguez et al).
The winning time was 21.102 seconds. Cyber Paint was second and Revenantly was third. Cyber Paint finished in time of 21.230 seconds and Revenantly finished in 21.259 seconds.
Kiss Me Ina Flash scratched in third All American Futurity trial
Oklahoma Futurity winner Kiss Me Ina Flash scratched in third race, He was the 3-1 morning-line favorite.
Race 1: Greatest Ever wins first All American Futurity trial
Greatest Ever won the first All American Futurity trial in time of 21.279 seconds. Christian Cardenas was winning jockey, Rodolfo Valles was winning trainer and winning owners were Paul Blanchard and Javier M. Chavez. Kissin Lane Lo was second, Lucky Cowgirl was third.
