Read full results of The News' Michigan Democratic primary poll

U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens has an electoral edge against Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan’s contentious U.S. Senate race with less than three weeks to go before the Aug. 4 primary.

That’s according to a Detroit News/WDIV-TV (Channel 4) poll of 500 likely Democratic primary voters that was conducted July 8-11.

The Glengariff Group, pollsters for The News and WDIV, asked a series of relevatory questions about what’s motivating Democratic voters in this midterm election. The survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.
