A motorcyclist was killed July 15 after a vehicle collision on Columbus’ South Side.
Columbus police received a call around 6:22 p.m. reporting the collision in the 1700 block of Parsons Avenue at the intersection with East Woodrow Avenue, according to a police dispatcher.
Medics arrived on scene and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at 6:26 p.m., the dispatcher said.
A Dispatch reporter observed a black SUV with moderate front-end damage at the scene. Debris was also scattered in the intersection.
The motorcyclist’s name will not be released pending notification of family. Additional information on what led to the crash also was not immediately available.
The Columbus police Accident Investigation Unit will investigate the crash.
