While a majority of the Houston Texans’ rookie class won’t be asked to contribute from the jump, that’s not the case for the team’s first two picks.
Offensive lineman Keylan Ruteldge and defensive tackle Kayden McDonald should expect to start this season. If they don’t start in Week 1, it’s not the end of the world, but the expecation after trading multiple draft picks to select them that they will see a majority of reps by the season’s end.
