Detroit Lions Top 10 Injury News of 2025 Season: Honorable Mentions

There were some injuries in 2025 that were worth an honorable mention:

Christian Mahogany – Left fibula fracture

November 2, 2025:

The Lions lost their starting left guard for six games due to a leg fracture. Mahogany returned to play in the final three games of the season, and should be fully recovered with no residuals for 2026. He appears to be the favorite to start again at LG.

Mekhi Wingo – Knee meniscus

A knee meniscus injury and surgery in November 2024 needed a follow-up surgery, delaying his recovery. While technically a healthy scratch for most of the 2025 season, the knee may have carried residuals as Wingo only appeared in two games (weirdly both against the Bears).

Raising hope for the future, this former 6th-rounder looked really sharp in the season finale of 2025…
