Michigan State basketball is the latest power conference team to reportedly extend an offer to a highly-rated combo guard from Ohio.
Joshua Tyson of West Chester, Ohio has reportedly picked up an offer from the Spartans, according to Corey Robinson of 247Sports. He is a combo guard prospect in the 2027 class, and is listed at 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds.
Tyson is listed as a four-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 97.62 in 247Sports’ composite system. He ranks as the No. 11 combo guard and No. 5 player from Ohio in the 2027 class. Additionally, he is ranked as the No. 65 overall player in the class.
Michigan State joins a long list of nearly 15 schools to offer Tyson, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, Arizona State, Penn State, West Virginia, Dayton and New Mexico.
