School may not be in session during the summer months, but high school football teams are as busy as ever.
Palm Beach County programs are hitting the gymnasium and the field, preparing for the approaching 2026-2027 season. With spring games in the review mirror, rosters are taking shape and teams are working on final approaches for the year ahead.
The Palm Beach Post is taking a concentrated look at major positional groups across the local high school football landscape ― tracking the best players in every role while allowing our audience to have their say in who they believe is the best.
Next up: offensive linemen.
Here is our first look at the top five offensive linemen to know in Palm Beach County for the 20206-2027 season.
Harrison Fitzgerald, Sr., Jupiter
Harrison Fitzgerald is the designated leader for a homegrown Jupiter football team this year under first-year head coach Josh Brooks. The Warriors graduated a lot of talented players on the line (as part of a class of 29 seniors last season), so the program may have to handle some growing pains.
Fitzgerald remaining on the line in his senior year will offer the transitioning program consistency and power, especially for players like Nick Bothe running the ball behind him.
Colt Hauser, Sr., Cardinal Newman
Son of Yellowstone star Cole Hauser, Colt Houser cemented his commitment to NC State over the summer, and he will return to Cardinal Newman to anchor the line once again.
Janarro Sumpter and Pedro Martinez will be glad to have the benefit of Hauser on the line in pass protection and run blocking, especially in the wake of Brayden Charney’s graduation.
Zayden Gatling, Jr., Palm Beach Central
Gatling boasts offers from top in-state schools such as Miami and UCF, as well as a collection of offers wlsewhere after a strong sophomore campaign.
He will enter his junior year as a team captain, and though h will be blocking for a new quarterback and running back, he’s expected to find success in anchoring the Broncos line.
Zaquan Linton, Sr., Palm Beach Central
The second Palm Beach Central name is an established one, having bypassed a Miami offer to join ‘Prime Time’ Deion Sanders in Colorado.
The offensive line is a strong point for the Broncos this year, largely because of the power that Linton brings to both pass protection and the run game.
Matthew “Big Matt” Raiman, Sr., Spanish River
Matt Raiman was a standout offensive lineman for Spanish River last year, helping the Sharks fulfill the first part of head coach Nick LaSala’s vision for revitalizing the football program.
Fresh off a First Team Palm Beach Post selection, Raiman will return for his senior year looking to steady an offensive switching out Jacorrion McCrary for Jayden Lockhart at running back.
