Want to own a piece of the Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point? Now’s your chance.

The Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park is selling pieces of track from the roller coaster, which the park touts as the first to reach 200 feet in height, WKYC TV-3 reports. The pieces of track went on sale Saturday, June 27 in the Pagoda Gift Shop on the Main Midway, WKYC reports.

They cost $300 per piece, and there are more than 100 available, Clark told the station.

Roller coaster temporarily closes, reopens after part falls off

On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21, a park guest at Cedar Point Shores found a washer-like object on the ground just after Magnum XL-200 had past overhead. The guest then alerted park staff.

“As a precaution, the ride was temporarily closed for a thorough inspection, and it reopened once the inspection was complete,” Clark said.

The small, flat metal disc was part of the coaster’s lift mechanism that is a chain that pulls the train to the top of the first lifthill. No injuries were reported.

Magnum XL-200 was first coaster to top 200 feet, once the fastest and steepest

The Magnum XL-200 was the first hyper coaster and the first to top 200 feet, according to the park’s website.

When it debuted in 1989, it was also the fastest and steepest complete-circuit coaster in the world.
