LAWRENCE TWP. ‒ An 18-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 7:53 p.m. June 28 at the intersection of North Orchard Road and Northwood Avenue in Tuscarawas County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

He was traveling north on Northwood in a 2021 Nissan Altima when he failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck on the left side by an eastbound 2019 Ram 1500 operated by Skylar Nelson, 27, of Bolivar, the patrol said. Reichman wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, the patrol said.

Nelson and a passenger were not injured.

Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation, the patrol said.

The patrol was assisted at the scene by Bolivar Fire/EMS, Dover EMS, Strasburg EMS, Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office and Keith’s Towing.
