Houston Rockets' 2026 Summer League schedule drops

The Rockets’ 2026 Summer League schedule is here.

In this year’s edition of Summer League, Houston will look to improve on last summer’s 1-4 record. Last year’s team was led by Reed Sheppard, but Sheppard only suited up in two games for the Rockets while dealing with calf soreness.

Houston will start with a 5:30 PM game against the Denver Nuggets on July 10 before taking on the Toronto Raptors the following day in a nighttime match-up. The Rockets will then face the Philadelphia 76ers on July 14th in a midday game before closing out their preliminary round games against the Brooklyn Nets with a 3:30 PM game on July 16th.

If Houston finishes in the top four teams, they’ll play in the Summer League playoffs. If the Rockets miss out on the playoffs like last year’s team, they’ll play a fifth consolation game against one of the other 25 teams.

Of the players who are confirmed for Houston’s Summer League team so far, former Purdue big man Oscar Cluff has reportedly joined the roster. Cluff averaged 10.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while shooting 68.3% from the field for the Boilermakers this season.

While not confirmed, former NC State guard Quadir Copeland will also likely join the Summer League roster. Copeland, who averaged 13.9 points and 6.5 assists with the Wolfpack this season, signed a two-way deal with the Rockets on Wednesday.
