Golden State's Jimmy Butler hoping to return soon as Steph Curry's sidekick

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler was present at a team press conference Thursday, helping the franchise unveil a new endorsement partner.

Following the event, Butler took questions about his recovery process and timetable for return. “I got some time, but I promise I’m trying to get back to basketball. As soon as I can get back on the floor, being the Robin to Steph’s Batman, I will be back,” said Butler.

Just like veteran Al Horford alluded to, Golden State was on a roll right at the time of Butler’s injury. Prior to Butler’s scary collision, the team had won 12 of their last 16 and were making up ground in a loaded Western Conference playoff race. Assuming Butler isn’t traded before the end of the summer, he, Curry and Horford will have a chance to run it back in hopes of a better result.
