Grand Theft Auto fans finally know what it will cost to speed around a pseudo Florida and commit (or prevent) crimes in the franchise’s “biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet”: about 80 bucks. Rockstar Games also confirmed in a a June 24 release that the game will feature a “single-player experience.”
But anyone preordering will also get a “Vintage Vice City Pack” collecting older items, plus a free month of GTA+ for digital pre-orders, where players can jump behind the wheel in more classic games in the series, the company said. GTA VI is the first new version of the best-selling game series in 13 years.
You can also go for the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition with “an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story” for $99.99.

When is Grand Theft Auto VI coming out?
The game will launch on Nov. 19.
Players who preorder digital versions of GTA VI will be able to begin pre-loading on November 12 to make sure they’ll be able to play when the game launches. The physical copy with a download code in the box will be available starting Nov. 12 to support pre-loading, the company said.
When do Grand Theft Auto VI preorders begin?
Preorders start at midnight, local time, on June 25.

What is Grand Theft Auto VI about?
Started in 1997, Grand Theft Auto refers to a series of action-adventure video games that allow players to dive into and advance in the seedy underworld of different cities. They are known for their very adult themes, top-of-the-line animation, and A-list voice actors, including Ray Liotta, Dennis Hopper, Samuel L. Jackson, William Fichtner, James Woods, Debbie Harry, Axl Rose, and Peter Fonda.
GTA VI, the first new game in 13 years, features something new: two protagonists instead of one.
According to the trailer description, “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

GTA VI is basically set in Florida
“The glamour, hustle, and greed of America captured in a single city,” Rockstar Games’ website says about Vice City, the traditional hub of the game that’s essentially Miami. But GTA VI brings five more locations, each one capturing the feel of a different part of the Sunshine State.
“Each neighborhood has something to offer, from the pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands of Ocean Beach, to the bustling panaderías of Little Cuba and the bootleg brands of the Tisha-Wocka flea market, out to the VC Port, the cruise ship capital of the world,” Rockstar said.
Other locations include “Leonida Keys,” the gator-filled “Grassrivers,” “Port Cellhorn” filled with “cheap motels, shut-down attractions and empty strip malls,” and a familiar-looking massive cruise ship, the industrial town “Ambrosia” that features a local sugar refinery and a biker gang, and “Mount Kalaga,” a national park along the state’s northern border.
