2. MARK YOU CALENDARS: Happy Hour for Hope returns
Happy Hours for Hope are celebrations for a worthy cause. These monthly gatherings raise funds for Meals of Hope, with a mission to eliminate hunger in Collier County. Meals of Hope Marco Island is a combined effort of Sunrise Rotary, Noontime Rotary, and the Kiwanis Club.
Neil “Capt. Happy” Snyder invites you to an upcoming Happy Hour for Hope, 4:30 until 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, from at CJ’s on the Bay, 740 North Collier Blvd., in the Esplanade.
There will be complimentary appetizers and specially priced drinks and entertainment, for a suggested donation of $20. A 50-50 drawing will add to the fun and funds.
This year’s goal is $60,000 to pack 200,000 meals.
