PORTLAND — A 66-year-old Howard City man died and another person was seriously injured in a June 20 motorcycle charity ride, Portland police said in a social media post.
The Howard City man is believed to have suffered a medical emergency before his bike crashed into another and a third bike became involved at about 11:15 a.m. near Divine Highway and Maynard Road, Police Chief Star Thomas said.
A woman motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries, Thomas said.
Thomas said the crash happened during a Suicide Awareness event.
