Ventura County’s best food truck poll results are in.
Jolly Oyster in Ventura took first place with 22.22% of the votes. Second place goes to Cosmos Smash Burgers, also from Ventura, with 21.21% of the votes. Third place had two winners. Shrimp vs Chef in Thousand Oaks and Takumi Teppanyaki in Oxnard and Ventura were tied with 16.16% of the votes.
The poll included food trucks with fixed locations from Simi Valley to Ventura and also one that roamed.
Earlier this month, The Star’s poll winner was Toppers Pizza, as best bar, or eatery should we say, to watch the World Cup in the county.
