A massive new player is entering the Central Florida entertainment scene. Level99, a sprawling 46,800-square-foot interactive social gaming venue, has officially announced it will open its doors at Disney Springs on June 29.
Designed for teens and adults, the two-story complex is the brand’s largest location to date, packing in physical and mental mini-games alongside original local art installations and a scratch-kitchen restaurant.
Ticket sales officially launch on Monday, June 22, on Level99’s website.
What will Level99 feature?
The venue features 63 distinct, life-sized mini-games and challenges designed for groups of two to six players. These quick-fire rooms typically last between 1 and 4 minutes, offering three distinct styles of play: cooperative challenge rooms, player-vs-player duels, and an interactive art scavenger hunt.
It will feature the brand’s famous games like Axe Run, where players race across a narrow beam while dodging swinging axes. Another game, Ninja Swing, allows players to test their strength using ropes to cross a series of platforms without falling. In Mansion Banquet, a mental puzzle, players act as a party planner, solving logic puzzles to properly seat and feed quirky guests.
Upon checking in, every visitor receives an RFID-powered wristband called a “Veloband.” This band acts as a digital key, unlocking access to any of the 63 rooms.
Will there be food and drinks?
Level99 will also serve food and drinks with a two-story bar at the center of the venue. The dining space features elevated casual options, including Detroit-style pizza, wagyu burgers, shareable snacks, local craft beers on tap and a full menu of handcrafted cocktails.
What used to be at Level99?
Level99 is taking over a highly recognizable piece of real estate on the west side of Disney Springs that has a rich history.
Known to be home to DisneyQuest from 1998 to 2017, longtime Disney fans remember this five-story indoor interactive video game theme park.
The original DisneyQuest building was demolished to build the NBA Experience facility. It was short-lived from 2019 to 2021, closing permanently after the pandemic closures due to low guest attendance.
How much will tickets cost?
Tickets start at $29.99 per player. Options include 1.5 and 2.5 hours of play.
Level99 will also offer a premium pass add-on that includes expedited check-in and special gifts.
All games are included with the price of admission, and visitors will be able to try the games as many times as they want.
