Notre Dame fans who have long envied head coach Marcus Freeman’s style, will now have the chance to wear the same outfits as the man in charge.
Under Armour and Notre Dame have announced a limited-edition “Coach’s Collection” built around the look and fashion choices Freeman wears on fall Saturdays. The collection, highlighted on Notre Dame’s official social media channels, features apparel that mirror Freeman’s signature combinations, including quarter-zips and performance tops that have traditional Irish colors.
The Coach’s Collection appears to be available in multiple outlets, giving fans choices to get the gear. Fans can purchase the clothes at the Under Armour website, as well as the official Notre Dame bookstore and fan shop. It is expected the clothes will show up in retail outlets at some point as well. Quantities seem limited which might generate a sense of urgency for fans who want to purchase their favorite looks and be sure to get it in their size.
Freeman’s sharp, consistent look has become a visual brand of Notre Dame football in recent seasons. Possibly the ability to to replicate the style can build another bond between the football program and their fans. The upcoming season brings big expectations for the Irish this season and now they will be able to dress as if they are on the sidelines as well.
