Teen injured in shooting at Appleton park, police say

A teen was shot at an Appleton park on June 7, the Appleton Police Department said.

Police responded to the shooting around 1:45 a.m. at Arbutus Park, 556 W. Packard St. A teen was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the police department.

Based on the investigation, police said the shooting involved groups of people that knew each other. No one has been arrested yet.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the shooting should call the police department at 920-832-5500.
