CANTON ‒ Stark County Family Court Judge Rosemarie Hall is retiring effective Oct. 1, according to the Stark County Republican Party.
The party is accepting letters of intent and resumes from individuals who wish to fill the vacancy. Attorneys living in Stark County may make an application by 5 p.m. June 19. The letters should be sent to Stark County GOP, 2729 Fulton Drive NW, Canton, OH, 44718 or to director@starkgop.org.
The Stark County Republican Executive Committee will meet on June 24 to recommend up to three qualified individuals to Gov. Mike DeWine, who will appoint Hall’s replacement. Applicants will be permitted to address the Executive Committee.
Hall is one of three Family Court judges who handle juvenile crime offenders, domestic relations case and other matters. The others are Michelle Cordova and Matthew Creitzer.
