Last night’s fifth episode of “Love Island USA” was a rollercoaster from start to finish, culminating in the first elimination of season eight.
The episode that aired Sunday, June 7 began the second week of Peacock’s hit summer reality TV show, which for now has two Floridians looking for love in the villa.
The episode airing Friday, June 5 brought a second bombshell from Miami named Corbin, who shook up the women of the villa, as they all express interest in him. The most recent episode began where Friday night’s episode left off, with Melanie in the hot seat for pulling the Floridian for a chat before single islander Kenzie got a chance.
One by one, each of the women had their chance to speak with Corbin and see if there was a spark worth ditching their current partner for.

Sadly, Sean’s time in the villa came to an end on the fifth episode. He was eliminated from the villa after none of the women chose to couple up with him in Sunday’s recoupling.
Previously, he was coupled with Beatriz when he entered the villa; however, she ended up coupling with bombshell Gabriel on the second day.

2 Floridian bombshells on ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8
The first Floridian bombshell, Gabriel Vasconcelos, is a 26-year-old Brazilian model and DJ from Miami, Florida. He entered as a bombshell on the premiere episode and coupled up with Beatriz in the second episode.
On episode four, another Florida bombshell has entered the villa – 22-year-old Corbin Mims from Miami. The Stetson University graduate made his first appearance during a challenge on episode four, when the men didn’t know he was there and the women each went to a secret room to make out with him.

Starting this week, new episodes of “Love Island USA” will drop daily, except on Wednesdays. “Love Island Aftersun,” the show’s companion talk show, will air weekly episodes on Saturdays starting this week.
