Last year’s transfer portal brought in quite the haul for the Texas Tech softball team, and now the Red Raiders are sure to be active once again for another push at a national championship.
Texas Tech has gotten close to the glory each of the past two seasons but fallen to Texas in the finals of the Women’s College World Series each time. Next year’s Red Raiders will try to do it again but will need to do so without the likes of NiJaree Canady, Mihyia Davis and Jackie Lis.
Gerry Glasco should have the nucleus of last year’s transfer portal class back in Kaitlyn Terry, Mia Williams, Taylor Pannell, Jasmyn Burns and Lagi Quiroga in 2027. Texas Tech doesn’t have to be nearly as active this offseason, but moves are sure to come.
