Florida State is hosting a camp on their campus this weekend, and a prospect in the 2029 class out of Texas will be in attendance. Running back Germaquis Robinson is making the trip to Tallahassee.
“I’ll be at Florida State camp on June 7th ,” Robinson announced on social media.
As a freshman at Yoakum High School, Robinson was a productive player. He ran for 726 yards on 81 carries and scored 10 touchdowns. He had three games over 100 yards rushing in the regular season.
Robinson performed at an extremely high level during the Texas Class 3A playoffs. His highlight game came against Fairfield High School when he racked up 297 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries in a thrilling 36-29 win. He helped Yoakim finish the season 14-2 and win the state title Class 3A-Division. Including the postseason, Robinson ran for 1,724 yards and scored 22 touchdowns.
He’s currently unranked, but that will change once the rankings for the 2029 class drop. Robinson has transferred to Malakoff High School for his sophomore campaign.
