CHELSEA — Kaleb Nielson and Brady Elizondo each had two hits and drove in three runs for the Hornets in their Division 2 regional semifinal win in five innings. Nielson had a double and Elizondo had a triple. while Miles Keener had two RBIs for Williamston.

FOWLER — Mason Simon went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Tyler Thelen and Jerryd Scheurer each had two hits for the Shamrocks in their three-inning mercy-rule win over Saginaw Nouvel in a Division 4 regional semifinal. Portland St. Patrick scored in every inning, which included seven runs in the second.
OVID-ELSIE 5, PERRY 4
NEW LOTHROP — Trey Palatka drove in two runs and Brody Howard went 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored and an RBI for the Marauders in their Division 3 regional semifinal win. Ovid-Elsie advance to face Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest in a regional final at noon Saturday, June 6.
PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA 5, GRANDVILLE CALVIN CHRISTIAN 2 (11 innings)
SARANAC — Logan Drysdale had a three-run double in the 11th inning to help the Pirates get past Calvin Christian in a Division 3 regional semifinal. Drysdale finished with three hits and four RBIs to lead P-W, while Alex Drysdale and Nolan George each had two hits for P-W.
FULTON 10, BYRON CENTER ZION CHRISTIAN 2
Connor Cunningham and Jennings Burley each drove in three runs to lead the Pirates in their Division 4 regional semifinal win over Byron Center Zion Christian. Fulton led 4-2 when it broke things open with a five-run fifth inning. Bryson Sattler pitched 5 1/3 innings to earn the win. The Pirates advance to face Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart in a regional final.
WAYLAND 5, CHARLOTTE 0
Cam Place, Mason Croley and Ethan Cheyne each had a hit to lead the Orioles in their loss to Wayland in a Division 2 regional semifinal. Wayland scored four runs in the opening inning and added another in the fifth in its win.
PETERSBURG SUMMERFIELD 12, DANSVILLE 2
PETERSBURG — Brantley Quinn had two hits and drove in a run and Nathan Sherwood went 3-for-3 to lead the Aggies in their Division 4 regional semifinal loss to Summerfield. The game was scoreless until Summerfield scored five runs in the top of the fourth. The Bulldogs scored in every inning the rest of the way, which included four runs in the sixth.
BOYS LACROSSE
HUDSONVILLE 11, GRAND LEDGE 3
The Comets were stopped a win short of reaching the state championship game for a second consecutive season after falling to Hudsonville in a Division 1 state semifinal. Grand Ledge closes a season that featured another CAAC title and a fifth straight regional championship with a 17-4 record.
