Following a rather tumultuous two-game road trip that saw the team drop both games and carry a startling amount of media-driven theatrics off the court, the Indiana Fever (4-4) return to the confines of Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream (6-2) in another WNBA Commissioner’s Cup matchup on Thursday night.
Despite no drastic injury scares from the Fever over the past two games and during their five-day hiatus, the Fever still have two names listed on their league-mandated injury report for tomorrow’s clash with the Dream.
According to the report, guard Caitlin Clark (back) and center/forward Damiris Dantas (personal) are both listed as “probable” for the June 4 clash against Atlanta.
Clark’s designation is nothing new for the former Hawkeye, as she has been dealing with a series of back soreness throughout the start of the season. She has also played in the past three games despite being included in the initial injury reports for all of those matchups.
Meanwhile, Dantas has been absent from team practices over the past two days for undisclosed personal reasons but is expected to be serviceable in some capacity tomorrow.
Tipoff for Indiana’s game against Atlanta is set for 6 p.m. CT, with the game streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
