Here's how you can go to the Ecuador-Guatemala international friendly in Columbus

An international soccer friendly between Ecuador and Guatemala will be hosted 4 p.m. June 7 at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field, home of the Crew.

Ecuador is training at the OhioHealth Performance Center as it prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place June 11-19 in 16 cities across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Columbus isn’t hosting any official World Cup matches, but the city will remain the official “base camp” for the Ecuador team over the course of the tournament.

How to get tickets

Crew season ticket holders had access to pre-sale tickets in April, but remaining tickets are available for purchase online through the Crew website. Ticket prices start at about $50.

Stadium restrictions

The Federal Aviation Administration has put in place temporary restrictions on the flight of unmanned aircraft systems, or drones. The restrictions will remain in place from June 1 to July 21 as part of security for the event. Historic Crew Stadium and the Downtown corridor are included in the restriction’s coverage area.

All bags are restricted from entry into ScottsMiracle-Gro Field, except those smaller than 5”x8”x1”, diaper bags and medical bags. All bags are subject to being searched upon entry.

Prices vary, but paid parking is available at the nearby Astor Parking Garage, in the lot at 530 Spring St. and in the Belmont lot, as well as additional lots in the area.

History

This is the second time playing in Columbus for both international teams. Ecuador played the U.S. Men’s National Team at the Historic Crew Stadium in 2001, where they tied 0-0, and Guatemala lost to the USMNT 4-0 in 2018 at the Historic Crew Stadium during a FIFA World Cup qualifier.

The friendly kicks off the Crew’s Summer of Soccer.
