The arrest is the result of a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). In November 2025, LCSO received information from the NCMEC after an electronic service provider reported suspected child sexual abuse material associated with an online account.

LCSO’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) unit launched an investigation managed to determine that the account belonged to Williams. Additional investigative efforts led to deputies obtaining and searching a phone which belonged to Williams.

Analysis of the device revealed 45 illegal files across all his electronic devices.

Williams was arrested by the United States Marshals Service on May 29.

“Every image of child sexual abuse material represents the victimization of of a child,” said Sheriff Walt McNeil. “The Leon County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to identifying those who exploit children and ensuring they are held accountable.”
