The Miami Dolphins made a pair of roster moves on Tuesday, as they signed wide receiver Jalen Reagor to the roster to compete for a depth spot alongside several rookies and veterans.
To make room for Reagor, the team announced that they’ve released defensive back Jordan Colbert with a failed physical designation.
Colbert, 26, played collegiately at Columbia from 2018-21 and Rhode Island from 2022-23 before signing with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2024.
After spending the entirety of his rookie season on Miami’s practice squad, Colbert appeared in five games in 2025, recording five tackles. Unfortunately, his second year in the NFL ended early, as he landed on injured reserve after going down in Week 11 against the Washington Commanders.
