“Love Island USA” is back and so is its famous host.
Ariana Madix returns for her third season as the front woman of the popular Peacock reality dating series, which premieres June 2. She replaced actress Sarah Hyland in the role in season 6.
So, who is Madix? Here’s what to know.
She is known for ‘Vanderpump Rules’
Madix is famous for starring on the Bravo reality TV series “Vanderpump Rules.” She became a series regular during season 2 in 2013 and was on the show through season 11, which aired in 2024.
Her past relationship went viral
For much of her tenure on “Vanderpump Rules,” Madix dated costar Tom Sandoval. But season 10 and 11 showed Sandoval’s cheating scandal, and the subsequent fallout, with their fellow star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss. It was famously dubbed “Scandoval.”

Madix has been dating Daniel Wai, a personal trainer, since 2023. The start of their relationship was documented on season 11 of “Vanderpump Rules.”
