CAMBRIDGE − OHSAA regional track and field meets were hosted at various high schools across the region this past week, which marks the final stop before the state meet.
The addition of a fourth and fifth division to the rotation changed the qualifying format, with the top five finishers in each event at three regionals earning state bids, along with three statewide wild card spots.
The newly named Jesse Owens State Track and Field Championships will be Thursday-Sunday, June 4-7 at Ohio State’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.

The 2026 Jesse Owens State Track and Field Championships get under way on Friday, June 5, at the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on The Ohio State University campus. The running semifinals get underway at 10 a.m. on Friday morning. The finals will be run on Saturday evening starting at 5:45 p.m. The girls’ discus and pole vault will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
