Flagler Palm Coast High School’s Class of 2026 ended an era by earning diplomas and applause during commencement May 31 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.
In all, 584 seniors graduated as Bulldogs.
FPC senior class accomplishments
More than 50 students graduated from the school’s International Baccalaureate Program, while 26 graduates topped a 5.0 grade-point average, said Principal Bobby Bossardet.
“You earned over $1 million in scholarships. More than 20 students completed an entire associate’s degree before ever receiving their high school diploma,” Bossardet said.
More than 300 students either earned college credits or real-world industry certifications.
Sports achievements
Among Bulldog senior athletes, 70 earned either all-state or all-area awards, Bossardet said. Twenty have signed letters of intent to compete in intercollegiate athletics.
Seven members of FPC’s Class of 2026 earned individual state championships, he said.
“I am most proud of our standard. Over 25 of our athletic programs maintain a combined GPA above a 3.0,” Bossardet said.
Graduate describes FPC Class of 2026 community
Gianna Seifert, in a commencement address, said the Class of 2026 grew to become a community.
“We learned that sometimes just showing up is its own kind of success,” Seifert said. “But what really stands out when looking back on our high school years at FPC isn’t just the assignments or the schedules, it’s the people. The classmates who made long days feel shorter. The teacher who pushed us further than we ever thought we could go. The period we always looked forward to. The small, everyday moments that didn’t feel big but somehow turned into the memories we’ll carry forward.”
