The match-making reality TV show, “Love Island USA,” premieres its eighth season this week on Peacock.
“Love Island USA,” season 8 airs at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock Tuesday, June 2. Fans are already choosing their favorites among the cast, which does not feature any Michigan contestants.
In season 7, islander Austin Shepard hailed from Northville, Michigan, but was dumped from the island on episode 27, according to NBC.
Over the weekend, season 8 islander Vasana Montgomery was removed from the show ahead of the premiere in response to a public video of her using a racial slur, according to USA TODAY.
After the premiere on June 2, new episodes air daily on Peacock, skipping Wednesdays.

‘Love Island USA’ season 8 cast: Are any islanders from Michigan? Who was removed?
There are no islanders from Michigan currently cast on season 8 of “Love Island USA.” As the show progresses, additional islanders known as bombshells, will be added.
Season 8 islander Vasana Montgomery, from Beaverton, Oregon, was removed from the cast over the weekend due to a video showing her using a racial slur while singing along to a song.
In another surprising twist for the season 8 cast, islander Zach Georgiou, from Birmingham, England, is the brother of season 7 islander Charlie Georgiou, who was dumped on episode 12.
How can I watch ‘Love Island USA’ season 8?
“Love Island USA” exclusively streams on Peacock at 9 p.m. ET. Episodes will air daily with the exception of Wednesdays.
In addition, the talk show, “Aftersun” airs every Saturday on Peacock featuring behind-the-scenes clips and exclusive interviews with the islanders.

What is ‘Love Island USA’ about?
“Love Island USA” is a real-time, matching-making reality TV show. There are several versions of “Love Island,” taking place in different countries, including “Love Island Australia,” “Love Island UK,” “Love Island South Africa,” and others.
The show is set up with a group of men and women, called islanders, who stay at a villa in Fiji while seeking a real love connection. The islanders get coupled up and recoupled, voted off and compete in challenges.
The couple who falls in love and secures the most fan votes wins the grand prize of $100,000. The show is hosted by the former Bravo star, Ariana Maddix, and is narrated by Iain Stirling.
