FIFA World Cup 2026 is two weeks away from its opening matches and teams are arriving in the United States to begin training. One of those teams is opening up its camp to fans.
Curacao, the smallest nation by population (156,000) and land mass (171 square miles) to qualify for the World Cup, is training at Florida Atlantic University. The team is hosting a free community training session on Thursday, June 11 at the Owls’ on-campus football stadium. This marks the team’s only scheduled public session during its time in Boca Raton.
The team’s first match is vs. Germany and scheduled for Sunday, June 14 in Houston.
Gates at the FAU football stadium, located at 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, will open at 4:30 p.m., and the session will run from 6-7:30 p.m.
There will be food and drink available at the stadium.
Parking and admission are both free – but those tickets will be limited to the first 5,000 fans. To RSVP for tickets, go to fausports.com/form/2195. Tickets will be distributed prior to the event and must be shown at the gate.
