Columbus police have identified a pedestrian hit and killed in a May 16 hit-and-run crash on the city’s Northeast Side.
Brian Craddock, 59, was killed in the crash, according to an updated Columbus police news release.
At 9:46 p.m. May 16, a vehicle traveling south on Cleveland Avenue, just north of Republic Avenue, hit Craddock and then left the scene, police said. Craddock was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and died there at 10:10 p.m.
The Columbus police Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the crash. Police have not provided a description of the vehicle.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the Accident Investigation Unit at 614-645-4767 or provide an anonymous tip to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-4777.
