A football season isn’t for the faint of heart, and teams often go as far as its core leaders can take it.
Iowa has been blessed with some terrific leaders over the years. Jack Campbell, Cooper DeJean and Logan Jones are a few names that come to mind in recent seasons. The Hawkeyes had a terrific general under center last season, too, in quarterback Mark Gronowski.
On Thursday, Iowa revealed its latest batch of leaders heading into its 2026 campaign. The Hawkeyes announced its 2026 Iowa football leadership council:
