CHEBOYGAN — Cheboygan High School bid farewell to its Class of 2026 during commencement on Friday, May 22.
The evening began with a senior car parade through downtown. The graduates then made their way to the high school, where commencement took place in the gymnasium.
Among the speakers were Cheboygan High School Principal Marty Mix, followed by senior Evan Fradette, the valedictorian of his class. After Superintendent Spencer Byrd spoke, members of the Class of 2026 received their diplomas and celebrated with their families and friends.
This year, there were a total of 114 Cheboygan High School graduates, while 38 graduated from Cheboygan Inverness Academy.
