A famous Marvel Universe star is growing fond of the Queen City.
Letitia Wright, who plays Shuri in the “Black Panther” film franchise, visited Taste of Cincinnati over Memorial Day weekend, according to an Instagram post from local photographer and videographer Frank D. Young.
Young shared a photo of Wright with another festivalgoer on May 24 as part of his “In the City” series. Wright also visited the Mama Afrique Food Truck, according to a May 25 Instagram post from the Nigerian business.
“It’s the last day of Taste of Cincinnati and even Shuri knows where to find the best flavors at Taste of Cincinnati,” the post from the account for the family-owned food truck stated.
Wright’s latest outing is one of several recent appearances around Cincinnati. The Guyanese-British actor stopped by Asian Food Fest in April, according to another Instagram post from Young.
In January, Wright visited Plaid Room Records in Loveland. The record store shared photos of Wright with employee Hannah Freed on Facebook, writing, “Look who was in Loveland this week! Thanks for showing our team, and shop, so much love (Letitia Wright).”
The store said Wright also placed an order in December while she was in the U.K. Per Plaid Room Records, Wright ordered a limited edition variant of “Black Panther.”
The reason for Wright’s Cincinnati visits remains unknown.
