What is cut line at CJ Cup Byron Nelson? Tracking who could miss cut

We’re monitoring the cut line at the 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson to see which PGA Tour stars could miss the cut at TPC Craig Ranch in Texas.

Jordan Spieth is one of the biggest names at his hometown tournament, but after shooting 3 under in the first round, he’ll need to avoid falling back if he wants to play the weekend. He responded by shooting six straight birdies en route to taking the lead, leaving reigning champion Scottie Scheffler closer to the new cut line before his day started.

Only the top 65 players (plus ties) after two rounds will advance to play Rounds 3 and 4. Matti Schmid, who was in the final pairing at last week’s PGA Championship, could also miss the cut. Same with Garrick Higgo, who replaced his caddie after a two-stroke penalty for being late to the tee box prevented him from making the cut at Aronimink. Keep an eye out for Rasmus Højgaard, Billy Horschel and Max Greyserman as well. Scroll down for the latest updates around the cut line at the Byron Nelson.
