The Barstow community is invited to spend a day with local police officers and firefighters as they host the city’s Public Safety Fair this month.
The “fun-filled,” family friendly event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, along Mountain View Street, between Barstow Road and Second Street, according to city officials.
It will include emergency vehicles, live demonstrations, community resources and “free family friendly activities for all ages,” organizers said in a community bulletin.
“Bring the whole family and come connect with the people who help keep our community safe,” the bulletin added.
More information is available by contacting Barstow police Sgt. Catherine Greig at (760)-255-5185.
