With the first rounds of the WIAA softball playoffs taking place May 21 and 26, there are plenty of area standouts to watch.
Here are the 16 players from Manitowoc and Sheboygan to keep an eye on this postseason, in alphabetical order.

Eva Boness, Mishicot
Boness has a team-high .566 batting average, .793 slugging percentage, 11 doubles and 29 runs scored.
Taylor Brasser, Oostburg
Brasser has a .444 average with 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored for the Flying Dutchmen.
Cooper Brouchoud, Mishicot
Brouchoud is hitting .389 with nine doubles, three home runs and a team-high 23 RBIs to go along with 22 runs scored.
Ava Daggett, Random Lake
Daggett has driven in 29 runs, scored 24 herself and is batting .387 for the Rams. She also has a 1.91 earned run average with 87 strikeouts in 55 innings pitched.
Bri Donner, Plymouth
Donner is batting a team-high .481 while scoring 27 runs and driving in 29 with 10 doubles and three home runs. In the circle she’s sporting a 2.46 ERA in 62 2/3 innings pitcher with 62 strikeouts.
Katy Fischer, Plymouth
Fischer leads the Panthers with 31 RBIs while hitting .403 and scoring 20 runs.
Emma Gumtow, Plymouth
Gumtow has three home runs, 10 doubles, 30 RBIs and 35 runs scored while hitting .469.
Aya Hall, Manitowoc Lincoln
Hall has four home runs on the season with 28 runs scored, 17 RBIs and a .406 BA.
Megan Hochkammer, Valders
Hochkammer is hitting .464 with a .946 SLG%, 10 doubles and five home runs to go with 22 RBIS and 25 runs scored. She’s also thrown 126 2/3 innings with 189 strikeouts and a 1.382 ERA.
Anna Klein, Two Rivers
Klein has a 1.723 ERA with 177 strikeouts to just 18 walks in 130 IP.
Reese Kraus, New Holstein
Kraus leads the Huskies with a .474 BA and 11 doubles while driving in 20 runs. She also has a 2.39 ERA in 88 IP with 115 strikeouts compared to 20 walks.
Delaney Maranell, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah
Maranell leads the Resorters with a .508 BA, .984 SLG% while racking up eight doubles, six triples, three home runs and 25 RBIs. She also has 24 runs and 17 walks.
Liz Neils, Kiel
Neils is a two-way standout for the Raiders. She’s hitting .461 with 19 RBIs, 12 runs and 11 walks while also pitching 83 1/3 innings with a 2.94 ERA and 78 strikeouts.
Peytynn Schramm, Two Rivers
Schramm is tied for the team lead with 21 RBIs while scoring 15 runs and batting .278.
Allison Seidl, Manitowoc Lincoln
Seidl leads the Ships with 21 RBIs while batting .364 and scoring 18 runs with 10 doubles and a pair of home runs.
Chloe Thill, Random Lake
Thill is batting .524 with 29 RBIs, 11 doubles and 21 runs scored.
