Purdue men’s basketball’s tradition of playing high-caliber exhibition games will head east for a national championship game rematch.
The Boilermakers announced a preseason exhibition agianst Connecticut on Oct. 27. The site for the game has yet to be determined. The Huskies’ home court, Gampel Pavillion, is undergoing a $99.4 million renovation.
This will be the first meeting since the teams met in the 2024 national championship game. UConn won 75-60 in Phoenix to repeat as national champions.
This will be the fourth consecitive season the Boilermakers have played a high-profile preseason exhibition game on the road. They lost to No. 14 Arkansas in 2023, No. 15 Creighton in 2024 and No. 9 Kentucky last season.
