It’s Primary Election Day in Kentucky, meaning voters will cast a ballot for offices ranging U.S. Senate to Congress, judge executive to mayor, and other local races.
The primary will determine each party’s nominees for the general election in November. But in Northern Kentucky – where many of the political offices have been Republican held for decades – a lot of the races will be determined in the primary.
Kentucky has closed primaries, meaning voters can only cast a ballot if they’re registered as a Republican or Democrat.

What if I have problems at the polls?
