DETROIT — The Cavaliers advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2018 and the first time since 1992 without LeBron James on their roster.
The Cavs earned the right to face the New York Knicks in a best-of-seven series for the East crown by defeating the Detroit Pistons 125-94 in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Sunday, May 17, at Little Caesars Arena.
Game 1 between the fourth-seeded Cavs and third-seeded Knicks is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Madison Square Garden. It will be televised nationally by ESPN.
